Can we go back to normalising human-to-human interactions? 🥹This morning I woke up and grounded my coffee beans with a smile on my face and a positive disposition to seize the day until I received yet another soulless in-mail and my emotional response was instant. For the last 4 months, I had to get back to part time employment to make ends meet. Why? Because I adamantly reject opportunities from entities or prospects that prioritise profit over humanity, where creative expertise is undervalued when it takes in reality 15+ years to perfect the craft of meaningful visual expression and commitment to a lifetime of learning. 🚀Since I launched SGBLab. I promised myself that my selected clients and myself will solely be interacting on a human-to-human and face-to-face basis where #trust and #respect are nurtured.🤍 🦄 Believing in slow and organic growth nowadays might make me seem idealistic, but life has shown me that the longer the path, the more you blossomYes it takes more time, more ressources and more efforts but at the end of the day marketing is based on psychology and empathy. 👽All soulless in-mails, countless requests to invest in whatever coins, overpriced sales growth online courses with ghost trainers can now part ways from my LinkedIn. This month is the beginning of a new wave of genuine opportunities, I have coffee beans left to grind and milk to froth and I will have my perfect colourful morning scenario. ☕️🌻#lessismore #colour #slowgrowth

Did you know? 💡 Painting and graphic design have always been my means to escape from reality.Throughout the years, my artistic style has evolved, embracing vibrant and unique colours, black/white, or a combination of both. My ultimate satisfaction? Colour blocking.To avoid feeling constrained during my creative outbursts, I use various physical canvases, including paper, canvases, cups, bags, clothes, and even an entire kitchen…oops!My digital works are usually sourced from the physical works and adapted accordingly to usage. My primary source of inspiration? Since birth, I've been fortunate enough to grow up in a multicultural environment, torn between diverse cultures and languages. This experience hasn't just shaped my thinking - it has also given me the opportunity to design my own world, a world I continue to build in my nomadic studio wherever I go.It was only during my recent journeys from Denmark and Sweden to South Africa, passing through Brussels and Istanbul, that I realised cultural barriers are nonexistent when using art as a mean of expression and communication.SGBLab. ☁️ Dream . As you never know anything - you can grow your knowledge every single day -10 weeks ago, I embarked on a learning journey to understand the fundamentals behind the concept of #userexperiencedesign and discovered a unique and sweet blend of psychology, user psychology, design, innovation, strategy, research, product development and project management.A journey I will be able to pursue beyond the virtual classroom.
